Toni Kerns is a Senior Client Specialist with the BGW Group at Baird, bringing nearly 30 years of financial industry experience and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service. In her role, she supports clients and financial advisors across all aspects of the relationship, including onboarding, account management, and ongoing service, while helping drive the team’s operational efficiency and long-term growth.
Toni began her career in 1996 with Interstate Johnson Lane and has since held roles with Wells Fargo Securities, BB&T Scott & Stringfellow, and Hilliard Lyons. She has served in a client-focused capacity since 2006 and became licensed in 2012. As a seasoned professional, she is known for her attention to detail, proactive approach to client needs, and ability to manage complex service requests. She also plays an important leadership role within the branch, serving as a resource to colleagues and mentoring newer associates.
Originally born in Greenville, South Carolina and raised in New York City, Toni returned to her hometown where she built her career in financial services. Outside of the office, she is actively involved in her church and choir and is passionate about serving her community.
Toni is a proud mother to her daughter, Kateesha, and grandmother to her two grandsons, Keyshawn and Trayton. She enjoys singing, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.
